What we collect

Profile information: Name, email, role, department, skills, and any additional info you or your admin choose to add (like project history or expertise areas).

Search queries: What you search for, so we can improve results and show you relevant suggestions.

Usage analytics: How you use the app (which features, how often) to help us make it better. This is aggregated and anonymized.

How we use it

• To provide the service (finding the right people in your organization)
• To improve search quality and relevance
• To fix bugs and improve the product
• To communicate with you about your account or important updates

What we DON'T do

• We don't sell your data. Ever. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
• We don't share with third parties except as needed to provide the service (like our hosting provider).
• We don't monitor private communications. We only index information that's meant to be shared — profile data, not your Slack DMs.
• We don't track you across the web. No creepy cross-site tracking.

Data storage

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase and AWS. Everything is encrypted:

• In transit: All connections use TLS/HTTPS encryption.
• At rest: Data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption.

Each organization's data is strictly isolated. We use row-level security to ensure your data is only accessible to your organization.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of all data we have about you.
• Export: Download your data in a portable format.
• Correction: Fix any inaccurate information.
• Deletion: Ask us to delete your account and associated data.

Cookies

We use minimal, functional cookies only — things like keeping you logged in and remembering your preferences. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics cookies. Just the essentials.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email and/or a notice in the app before they take effect. For minor updates, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top.
